October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

One year ago I did a Breast Yarnstorm to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, I’m doing it a little differently but the pink boob is of course part of it!

So let me introduce… *drum roll* …BOOB ON THE GO!

1st of October: Tindastóll, Drangey, Boob and Þórðarhöfði in Skagafjörður, Iceland

Boob will be on the go all through October just to remind us all how important Breast Cancer Awareness is. Be sure to go regularly for a check up!

Udderly beautiful!

It was a still, beautiful April morning, a great day for a yarnstorm!

Skagafjörður, where I am from, is known for its horses and good singers. There is a statue of a horse in my hometown, Sauðárkrókur. I thought it might need a little… wooly touch.

The statue is located in the middle of the town.

There are not really many people around at 6am.

My (not so afraid of heights) extra set of hands taking care of things.

Udder needs to be fastened!

A breast Yarnstorm!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so I decided to do a boobie yarnbomb. Today is also Big Breast Yarnbomb day so it fitted perfectly!

Krabbameinsfélagið is The Icelandic Cancer Society. I thought it would make the people
that work there happy to see yarnbreasts when they come in on Monday.

The wind and rain did not help at all…
